Holyrood Catholic Cemetery
Garden: Holyrood
Section: Mary's Garden Columbaria
Space/Site: Various
Within the "City of God" section of Holyrood you will find "Mary's Garden Columbaria". This area is designed to highlight the various floral symbols of our Blessed Mother. Among them are Rose, Iris, and Lily. The central feature is the statue of the Divine Mercy of Jesus. Mary, the mother of Jesus, only desires to bring us closer to her son, Jesus. Each area offers a semi-private area for personal prayer and reflection while also incorporating vista views of the cemetery with Lake Ballinger just beyond.

About Holyrood Catholic Cemetery
Holyrood Cemetery –
Holyrood Cemetery was solemnly blessed and dedicated on the Feast of All Saints, November 1, 1953, by the Most Rev. Thomas Connolly, Archbishop of Seattle. Holyrood Cemetery officially opened on January 2, 1954 and has served the growing Catholic community in the Puget Sound area for more than 60 years. Holyrood Cemetery is a sacred place, a place of prayer and quiet reflection that invites us to remember all those “who have gone now before us marked with the sign of faith.” Holyrood offers a wide array of burial options for both traditional casket burial as well as cremation placement. We invite you to contact Holyrood for a personalized tour and the opportunity to have your questions answered.
